QPR will be looking to get back to winning ways when they face Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium this afternoon, with Mark Warburton's side hoping for a top 10 finish.

Given they lost Ebere Eze and Bright Osayi-Samuel in consecutive transfer windows, the progress made by the R's this term is impressive and bodes well ahead of the 2021/2 campaign.

They'll want to head into next season with momentum, so it's vital they bounce back from their defeat to Norwich City last weekend.

Warburton has named the side that he'll be hoping can get all three points against the Potters.

Confirmed QPR XI: Seny Dieng, Osman Kakay, Rob Dickie, Jordy de Wijs, Yoann Barbet, Lee Wallace, Stefan Johansen, Chris Willock, Ilias Chair, Lyndon Dykes, Charlie Austin

Warburton has made just the one change from the side that suffered defeat against Norwich, with Austin coming in for George Thomas.

The West Bromwich Albion loanee will start up top alongside the in-form Dykes, leaving the R's slightly lighter in midfield.

It seems they're determined to start the game on the front foot up in Staffordshire this afternoon against 13th-place Stoke.

Finishing the season with back-to-back wins could see the R's finish as high as eighth – should results elsewhere go in their favour.

That would be a marked improvement on the 2019/20 campaign, which saw them end the season 13th.

Three points this afternoon would be a step closer to achieving a first top 10 Championship finish since they were promoted via the play-offs in the 2013/14 campaign.
