Skybet Championship side Nottingham Forest have confirmed that out of favour winger Licá has returned to his native country of Portugal to join Liga NOS side Estoril on loan until the end of the season, according to an official club statement.
The 28-year-old Portuguese winger has struggled since making the permanent switch from FC Porto to the City Ground over the course of the summer.
Having made only five Championship Reds this season, the Portuguese winger seems to have struggled to adapt to English football and has now made a quick-fire return to his homeland.
Licá has left the Skybet Championship side temporarily on loan until the end of the season to return to former club Estoril who currently sit in 16th place in the Portuguese top flight, calling an end to a reasonably miserable time of things on these shores.
