Brentford FC have announced on the club’s official website that¬†they have completed the signing of Manchester City striker Joe Hardy.

Joe Hardy makes the switch from the Premier League giants to Sky Bet Championship outfit Brentford FC, putting pen to paper on a three year deal at Griffin Park.

Hardy will initially go into the Brentford B team and he signs a deal with Kevin O’Connor’s side until 2020 with the hope of being promoted to Dean Smith’s first team in the future.

The 18-year-old has been a regular in the Manchester City under-18 team this season after working his way through the age groups in the City academy.

However, Hardy has decided to make the switch to London to join Brentford, where he will join his new team mates for training today, subject to approval from the Football League.

The prolific striker has 12 goals and 6 assists in 11 under-18 starts for Manchester City this season so Brentford appear to have pulled off a real coup.
