Ipswich Town have announced via the club’s official website the arrival of Cameron Carter-Vickers, with the defender arriving at Portman Road on a loan deal until the end of the season from Tottenham Hotspur.
Carter-Vickers has spent the first-half of the season on-loan elsewhere in the Sky Bet Championship, making 18 appearances across all competitions for Sheffield United, including a league and cup fixture against his new employers, Ipswich.

Ipswich have moved quickly to secure the service of the USA international, who has linked up with his teammates today, and will be in contention to feature for Mick McCarthy’s side when they face Bolton Wanderers this weekend.
Carter-Vickers has been handed the number 27 shirt at Portman Road, and will link-up with a squad searching for a route into the Championship’s top-six in the coming weeks.
Last weekend’s victory over Leeds United moved Ipswich within four points of the top-six, with McCarthy’s side looking to cut the gap to Carter-Vickers’ former employers, Sheffield United, who currently sit sixth.
Carter-Vickers was unlucky to lose his place at Bramall Lane, with Wilder opting to hand the defender an opportunity for regular football elsewhere.
The 20-year-old will add to McCarthy’s options during the second-half of the season, and his spell with Sheffield United in the Championship should serve him well in his new challenge.
