Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce has confirmed that loan signings Tammy Abraham and Yannick Bolasie will be involved in Saturday's away clash with Blackburn Rovers.

The duo, who signed on loan from Chelsea and Everton respectively, could make their Villa debuts following their arrival at Villa Park.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Bruce confirmed that "Abraham will play", and Bolasie will also be involved despite the fixture being "still a bit early" for the 29-year old.

Villa will be going into the fixture looking for their third win of the season, after failing to find a win in their last four league outings, and will undoubtedly be looking to bounce back from a 4-1 thumping at Sheffield United almost a fortnight ago.

The Verdict

This is huge news for Villa.

Abraham is a clinical goalscorer in this division and could form a magnificent partnership with Jonathan Kodjia up top.

Whilst Bolasie may not start this weekend, he can definitely make an impact off the bench if the chips are down for Villa.
