Having been involved in Fulham’s Premier League preparations, it is a major coup for Paul Warne to be able to bring the impressive stopper back to the club.
The Slovkia U21 international played a huge part in Rotherham’s promotion to the second-tier via the League One play-offs.
An almost ever-present in the Miller’s side last season, the loanee made 38 appearances and registered 12 clean sheets during his time at the New York Stadium. He impressed with his shot-stopping ability and decision making in that spell.
And, he will surely be relishing the chance to play in the second-tier for Rotherham in what could be a challenging campaign.
He is the second new signing this week for the Millers, with Warne also bringing in Norwich City defender Sean Raggett to the club on a season-long loan in another impressive swoop.
This is a signing that could potentially keep Rotherham United up this season, he really is that important to the team.
With 12 clean sheets to his name during a promotion season, it is a pretty impressive return for a young goalkeeper still learning his trade and he should only get better.
Rotherham have secured a wonderful signing and following on from the capture of Raggett it should give everyone at the club increased confidence ahead of the new season.
