Two of Reading's highly rated youngsters have made loan moves as they search for valuable first-team experiences in senior football.

Gabe Osho was captain of the Reading Under 23's side and lead the side to the Premier League 2 play-offs last season and has already got himself on the scoresheet three times this season.

Osho has moved to Vanarama National League side Aldershot Town on an initial one-month loan deal.  This will be Osho's second loan move after his short spell at  Maidenhead United last season.

Osho and his Aldershot team mates take on Halifax Town in league action this weekend with Osho hoping he can have an instant impact with the club.

Fellow Reading youngster Ademola Shokunbi has also made the move on loan as he has joined Vanarama National League South side Billericay Town until January.

The move was announced on the club's social media page and the youngster will be hopeful of getting some much-needed game time in first team football.

Shokunbi will be learning from some experienced professionals in the game, as Billericay have boasted a number of high-profile names such as Jermaine Pennant, Kevin Foley and Jamie O'Hara (who is still with the club). The 19-year-old will be hopeful of making his debut this weekend as Billericay take on Whitehawk in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.

The verdict

The loan move for the pair will be an excellent move for their careers, providing they are given an adequate amount of game time whilst out on loan at their respective clubs.

Osho is held in high regard at Reading FC, and will be keen to prove himself at Aldershot and help them recapture their best form that saw them reach the play-offs last season.

Shokunbi faces a tough task to establish himself in a Billericay Town team that is full of experienced pro's but he will be keen to showcase the talent that has seen him a regular in the Reading youth team set up.
