Bristol City continue to thrill this season and will be looking to put out another statement against Middlesbrough this weekend.

The Robins just are not falling away at the moment and their comeback win over Hull City proved that they've got the firepower and character to keep this run up for some time yet.

Indeed, they'll be looking forward to taking on a Middlesbrough side that has faltered of late and if they can win we'll once again have evidence that the Robins are ready to remain in the top six.

Lee Johnson's men are looking organised and confident, then, and the organisation off the field is going nicely, too, with goalkeeper Frank Fielding signing a new deal - as per the club on Twitter:

The 29-year-old has been a regular figure this season for the Robins with their defence doing well and consisting of some very good players.

He looks as though he'll be sticking around for a couple more years at least, though, and it remains to be seen if the Robins end up in the top flight in that time.

Certainly, if they keep the likes of Aden Flint and Joe Bryan in front of him then who's to say they won't go up.

The Verdict

Things are going well for the Robins and it is always a positive to see the side getting their players onto new deals to keep stability.

Now the club needs to try and get some of the other key players onto new deals.
