Middlesbrough striker Martin Braithwaite has revealed himself on social media to be a fan of BBC show The Apprentice, having shared a Tweet claiming he would be an excellent candidate for the show.

The Danish striker, who has just returned from injury lay-off, has obviously spent his time on the sidelines catching up on the popular show, in which contestants vy to receive a job offer from businessman, Lord Alan Sugar.

Braithwaite, who joined in a big-money move from French side Toulouse in the summer, has made just two starts for the club this season due to his injury troubles, but returned to the first team with a vital goal against Brentford before the international break to earn his side a valuable point.

Having had two weeks off from duty to continue his recovery, the 26-year-old is back to full fitness and will be raring to go, hoping to add to his tally as Boro attempt to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
