West Bromwich Albion suffered their second defeat of the season last night at the hands of Middlesbrough, who moved to the top of the Sky Bet Championship table.

Darren Moore’s side struggled to deal with Middlesbrough’s physicality late on, as Daniel Ayala buried a chance that broke to him in the area.

The Baggies have picked up seven points from a possible 15 at this stage of the season, with West Brom failing to adapt to life back in the second-tier as quickly as they might’ve liked.

Last night, Harvey Barnes was West Brom’s main attacking threat, however, Moore moved to substitute him midway through the second-half, which helped nullify his side’s threat.

That decision was not well received amongst West Brom’s supporters, who were less than impressed with Moore’s brave call.
