Norwich City are flying high in the Championship this season, currently four points clear at the top of the table with only four matches of the season remaining.

Despite success in the league, manager Daniel Farke is looking to the future, with 25-year-old attacker Nick Powell on his summer shopping list.

Powell though is likely to be in-demand this summer as he will be a free-agent following his contract expiration at Wigan Athletic, with a host of sides in the UK and Europe keen on acquiring his services, as reported on TEAMtalk.

So, would Powell get into the current Canaries starting XI?

We discuss.......

George Harbey

"I don't think it's a definite, as Marco Stiepermann has been superb this season.

"Competition for places is beneficial in any team, and Powell would definitely provide that in abundance.

"I think that he is marginally better than Stiepermann, but it's ultimately down to Daniel Farke."

Gary Hutchinson

“I’m not sure he would.

“It’s crazy to say that as he’s a great player, but Farke has got a real balance to his side.

“His midfield are a finely honed machine and I don’t see who he’d replace if he went there.

“He’d certainly challenge though.”

Jacob Potter

"Unless they change their shape, I can’t see him starting.

"There’s no doubting that Powell is a good striker at Championship level, but he certainly isn’t better than Jordan Rhodes or Teemu Pukki.

"If Powell wants regular game time, then he’ll remain patient for now, and not even consider a move to Daniel Farke’s side as he’ll only be used on a rotational basis with the Canaries."
