Sheffield Wednesday have had some impressive seasons in the Championship, although they are yet to return to the Premier League in recent years. 

The Owls came agonisingly close to winning promotion back into the top-flight in the 2015/16 campaign, as they were beaten by Hull City in the play-off final at Wembley.

On the 13th May, it marked four years to the day since Sheffield Wednesday beat Brighton and Hove Albion in the first leg of their play-off semi-final.

Ross Wallace and Kieran Lee proved to be enough for the Owls on the day, before they held the Seagulls to a 1-1 draw in the second leg of the tie.

Carlos Carvalhal was in charge of Sheffield Wednesday that season, and took to Twitter to reveal that the 2-0 win in the first leg is a day that he'll remember forever.
