Having failed to make the final Euros squad for England, Aaron Ramsdale will be cheering the Three Lions on from home as he prepares for next season.

Ramsdale improved as the 2020/21 campaign went on, and his form saw him be called up to the provisional 33-man squad under Gareth Southgate.

But Sam Johnstone, Jordan Pickford and former Sheffield United goalkeeper Dean Henderson were all selected ahead of him, and Ramsdale will now prepare for next season.

It's a big season for Ramsdale, too, as he looks to guide the Blades back into the Premier League at the first time of asking.

The goalkeeper has taken time to host a Q&A session on his Instagram profile, with many fans asking him questions.

His former Sheffield United teammate, David Brooks, has responded to one of his answers, after Ramsdale revealed the Wales man was the player he misses most from his time at Bournemouth.

Brooks has responded to Ramsdale's answer, urging the goalkeeper to "come back" this summer.

The Verdict

Brooks and Ramsdale obviously created a good bond at Bournemouth after both coming through the ranks at Bramall Lane.

Brooks' comment is obviously tongue in cheek, but there would be no chance of Ramsdale returning to Bournemouth unless they went back up to the Premier League.

Both players will be looking to guide their respective sides to the Premier League this season, and both Bournemouth and Sheffield United are likely to be among those right in the promotion mix come the end of the campaign.
