‘Come back’, ‘Love you’ – Leeds fans react to former player’s classy message

Max Gradel may have left Leeds United in 2011, and has since enjoyed spells at St Etienne and Bournemouth before finding himself on loan at Toulouse currently, but his feelings for the Yorkshire club are still clear. 

He took to Twitter to post a message that expressed he still has Leeds on his mind and Leeds fans took no time in responding.

They are clearly still full of respect and affection for the Ivory Coast international, who found the back of the net on 22 occasions from just 63 league appearances during his time at Elland Road – which started with a 2009 loan spell before becoming permanent in 2010.

His career stalled slightly after his big-money move to Bournemouth but he has discovered something resembling his best form in France this season, netting eight goals from just 20 outings in all competitions.
