Huddersfield Town are looking to finish 2021 strongly tonight when they travel to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest.

Carlos Corberan’s side picked up a valuable win on Boxing Day against Blackpool and will have a spring in their step heading to the Midlands.

The short turnaround in terms of fixtures means it makes sense for Corberan to tweak his starting line-up, but that’s not something he’s been overly keen on doing in the past.

As our graphic below outlines, it might just be a case of a couple of alterations:

Lee Nicholls should continue in goal, with Levi Colwill returning to the back-three to replace Tom Lees, who misses out due to concussion protocol - Marty Pearson and Naby Sarr complete the defence.

Lewis O’Brien and Scott High feel Corberan’s safest bet in the midfield pivot away from home, with Harry Toffolo and Sorba Thomas, who are both in fine form, providing the width.

Aaron Rowe or Ollie Turton could come in and offer Thomas the chance to play in a more advanced position, though this way allows Duane Holmes to play further forwards.

Josh Koroma, meanwhile, could come in on the opposite side for Daniel Sinani, whilst Danny Ward leads the line after three goals in three games.
