Sunderland host promotion-chasing Aston Villa tomorrow night on the back of a battling away draw against Millwall on Saturday that means they are four points adrift of Championship safety.

The match will be another big challenge for Chris Coleman's side as they look to claw themselves out of relegation trouble knowing that the weekend's postponements mean that some of their relegation rivals now have a game in hand on them.

The game will also see Lewis Grabban return to the Stadium of Light, where he spent the opening half of the season before returning to parent club Bournemouth.

The Cherries then sent him to Villa Park on the final day of the transfer window and with two goals so far, Grabban is looking to make himself a key part of the Villans' play-off push.

Coleman has offered his thoughts on Grabban's return and it is clear that he feels he has bigger fish to fry.

The Verdict

Grabban wanted to get away from the relegation dogfight and that has angered some Sunderland fans.

That means he is unlikely to get the best reception but you wouldn't bet against him grabbing a goal on his return to the North East tomorrow night - which would silence the boo boys.

There were question marks over his attitude at Sunderland but his goals would be a massive boost to their survival bid if he was still at the club now.
