Swansea City are on the lookout for a new manager again after it was confirmed that Graham Potter had left for Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Premier League outfit had targeted the former Ostersunds boss after they sacked Chris Hughton and the Swans announced the move had gone through on their website this evening.

It means Potter only spent one season in Wales, where he took Swansea to a tenth place finish.

However, he had to cope with several big players leaving and wasn't really backed in the market, with much of the team made up of academy graduates this season.

Therefore, Potter was a very popular figure with the fans, although his reputation has suffered by the fact he has chosen to move on so quickly.

Yet, it must be said that some supporters understood his decision and feel those higher up at Swansea are to blame for not giving him the backing required to move the club forward.
