Portsmouth's League One promotion bid suffered a significant dent, as they were surprisingly beaten 1-0 by AFC Wimbledon on Saturday afternoon.

Terell Thomas scored the only goal of the game for the home side in stoppage time, and it means that Kenny Jackett's side currently sit 17th in the League One table.

It's been a dismal start to this year's league campaign for Portsmouth, and the club's supporters will be keen to see the back of this poor run of form at the earliest of opportunities.

Pompey reached the play-off semi-final last season, so there would have been an expectancy amongst the Fratton Park faithful for their side to achieve promotion into the Championship this time around.

But Kenny Jackett is seemingly coming under an intense amount of pressure from supporters, which is understandable, especially given that they are two points clear of the relegation places in the third tier.

Plenty of Portsmouth fans took to Twitter following this defeat to voice their frustrations.
