Derby County striker Bobby Duncan is reportedly in Denmark ahead of a potential move to Vejle Boldklub, which has drawn an interesting reaction from many Rams fans.

There were high hopes for the 20-year-old when he joined from Fiorentina last summer but he's failed to force his way into contention at Pride Park.

Even with Wayne Rooney's squad looking threadbare at the moment it seems Duncan is seen as excess to requirements by the Derby boss and is now pursuing a move elsewhere.

According to Football Insider, the former Liverpool and Manchester City youth player has flown out to Denmark to hold talks with Vejle Boldklub.

It is understood that the Rams have decided to let the young forward, who still has two years left on his contract, leave but it is unclear how they will be compensated.

Duncan has featured just once for the Championship club's senior side – starting as part of the youthful side that were beaten by non-league team Chorley in the FA Cup earlier this year.

The 20-year-old turned heads with his goalscoring exploits for the Liverpool age-group sides but he has failed to rediscover that form since leaving Anfield in 2019.

The news of Duncan's potential departure appears to have caught the attention of the Pride Park faithful, with many taking to Twitter to share their thoughts...
