Leeds United has always been a club careful to look out for their fans and another demonstration of that is well underway at the moment.

A club steeped in history, the Whites are aiming to return to the Premier League at long last this season but, every now and again, such a battle gets put into perspective by wider stories. Indeed, young Leeds fan Toby Nye and his fight against Neuroblastoma is the latest example of that and, typically, the club has thrown its full weight behind him and his family.

Raising funds to try and get him the treatment he needs to take the illness on, the Whites have launched Team Toby and One Day for Toby, where donations of one day's salary from those connected with the club are made and today is that day.

Ahead of the club's clash with Sheffield United, there's a whole host of fundraising activities going on alongside the donations and things are certainly gathering pace, with football hero John Hartson sending in this message - as per the club's Twitter account:

It's the latest touch of class in a story that concerns a very brave child and if you'd like to donate, you can do so via this link: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/sheriden-worsley
