Many Birmingham City fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that the club have made several changes to their staffing structure following the appointment of Craig Gardner as technical director.ย

The Blues yesterday confirmed the appointment of their former midfielder in the role and are now set to restructure their coaching set up as a result of this latest development.

Gardner will now step back from his role of being a right hand man to Lee Bowyer, with Mark Kennedy having been appointed as assistant head coach, whilst Paul Harsley will take on a new role as first team development coach.

In addition to this, Andy Marshall has also replaced Tony Roberts as goalkeeping coach.

Naturally the news of the reshuffle didn’t take long to reach the Blues’ fanbase, with many taking to social media to air their views on the matter in hand.
