Sean Maguire netted his first goal of the new season yesterday evening, scoring the club’s third goal against Cheltenham Town to ensure a place in the fourth round.

The Lilywhites ended up 4-1 winners at Deepdale against their League One opposition, with Emil Riis, Joe Rafferty, and Andrew Hughes all finding the back of the net.

Despite not starting the game, the 27-year-old was substituted in after just seven minutes, following an injury to new signing Connor Wickham.
