Chris Willock is yet to make an appearance for West Bromwich Albion since joining the club on transfer deadline day back in August.

The 21-year-old became the Baggies' eighth signing of the summer and arrived at the club on the same day as Matheus Pereira, Grady Diangana and Charlie Austin.

While those three players have all played a key role in Albion's excellent start to the season under Slaven Bilic, Willock has had to be patience for his chance.

When he joined the club, plenty of West Brom fans took to social media to react to his signing and express their excitement about the campaign ahead...

Things are yet to work out for Willock since he made the switch to The Hawthorns and with the Baggies flying high at the top of the Championship table, it remains to be seen whether Bilic will decide to give him a chance in the team.

With the likes of Pereira, Diangana and Matt Phillips ahead of him in the pecking order though, he could have to wait for his chance.

The versatile attacker, who is capable of playing as a second striker or a winger, has been in great scoring form for West Brom's under-23 side though.

It was also reported fairly recently that the Baggies have the option to convert Willock's loan move from Benfica into a permanent deal in January and are considering doing just that.

It remains to be seen whether the club will decide to utilise that option, but it shows that Bilic clearly sees a lot of potential in him and regards him as one to watch for the future.
