Leeds United fans have reacted to Thomas Christiansen’s latest social media post.
The Danish-born Spaniard managed Leeds for less than a year before being sacked in February 2018, but he remains a popular figure amongst Leeds fans.
Now manager of Belgian First Division side Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, Christiansen oversaw 35 games at Elland Road, winning 15.
Despite his underwhelming record at the club, Christiansen instilled some fire and excitement back into Leeds, setting up the role for Paul Heckingbottom, and today Marcelo Bielsa.

Born in Denmark but holder of Spanish citizenship, Christiansen represented the likes of Barcelona, Villarreal, VfL Bochum and Hannover 96 in his playing career, winning two caps for Spain as well.
He’s enjoyed relative success in his managerial career and was due to finish his first season with his new side in Belgium this time round.
Yesterday he took part in Leeds United’s video in support of the NHS staff working through this current crisis. Many fans were happy to see Christiansen involved, and here’s how they responded:
really good to see you, TC, on this. you were the beginning of the revolution, playing good football and bringing us mad gjianni and the brilliant but flawed samu saiz. 5-0 to burton, i was there, it gave us the taste back.
