Blackburn Rovers have announced that players and senior staff have agreed three-month wage deferrals to ensure that all non-playing staff get paid.

Rovers are the latest EFL club to take action amid the current global situation, and have mutually agreed this to safeguard the immediate financial future of the club.

The Lancashire club have also made use of the Government's Job Retention Scheme by placing several staff onto it - though their 80% wages are to be topped up to full pay in April and May.
