‘Class’ – Many Bristol City fans react to club announcement involving defender

Bristol City have recalled defender Cameron Pring from his loan spell with League One Portsmouth.
Pring was initially expected to spend the season at Fratton Park, but has returned to the Robins to help out with their ongoing injury crisis.
Dean Holden is currently without no fewer than nine first-team players due to various injuries, and with Chris Brunt released due to his season-ending calf problem, have bolstered their left-back department with the addition of Pring.
The ultimate 2021 Bristol City quiz – Can you get 24/24 correct?
Pring has been a regular under Kenny Jackett this season, featuring 15 times in all competitions to help Portsmouth remain in touch with the automatic promotion places – with the final appearance coming in the victory over Hull City before Christmas.
The 22-year-old moved to Ashton Gate as a teenager back in 2016, but hasn’t yet made a senior appearance for the Robins’, although that could soon change in the coming weeks – with Holden’s men scheduled to play five Championship matches in the next three weeks.
Pring could’ve enjoyed an immediate reunion with Pompey in the FA Cup on Saturday, although he’s cup-tied having already appeared in the competition for the Fratton Park outfit.
Here’s how the Bristol City fans have been reacting to Pring’s return to the club:
