Ben Brereton's 76th-minute equaliser against Millwall earned his side a 1-1 draw in Blackburn Rovers' first away game of the season.

12 minutes after Jed Wallace tapped home from close range, the Stoke-born forward glanced a header into the bottom corner from Joe Rothwell's out-swinging free-kick.

The young striker, who has recently switched his name from Ben Brereton to Ben Brereton Diaz, represented Chile during Copa America - a call-up that surprised the footballing world.

The 22-year-old's mother was born in Chile, which was why he was eligible to play for the South American nation.

Brereton Diaz made his debut for Chile as a second half substitute during a 1-1 draw with the eventual winner Argentina. The following game, the young forward was handed his full debut against Bolivia - a game in which he scored the winner.

Brereton Diaz has also been attracting interest from the Premier League, with Leeds United reportedly after his services.
