Ultimately, the class from Chelsea showed, as a brace from Alvaro Morata knocked the Reds out of the FA Cup, on a day where Aitor Karanka made four changes from the side that beat Leeds United 4-2 last week.

Luke Steele was handed a chance to impress in goal instead of Costel Pantilimon, and the 34-year old can feel remarkably pleased with his performance against Chelsea - saving Cesc Fabregas' penalty in the first-half to keep the scores level, albeit for a short period of time.
