West Brom suffered a huge blow in the build-up to today's clash against Norwich after Harvey Barnes was recalled from his loan spell by Leicester.

The 21-year-old has been one of the most exciting players outside the top-flight, with nine goals and six assists so far this season. Therefore, it was understandable that the Foxes wanted to bring him back.

It was still a massive blow for Darren Moore and perhaps Barnes, who was enjoying his football at The Hawthorns.

That was certainly evident by the lengthy twitter message that he sent today, praising those at the clubs and the fans for how they helped him during his few months at the club.

"Would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone involved with @WBA for making my time there so special.

"I was delighted to be given the opportunity to the help the team have a successful first half of the season and I wish them the best of luck for the second half.

"I also can’t thank the fans enough for the support on the pitch every game and for taking so well to me as a player. I wish the club all the success for the future. BOING BOING."

It's fair to say that the Baggies support certainly appreciated his efforts in his short spell.

Here's how they, and the club, reacted to his message on twitter...
