With football no closer to returning to our lives, it's a frustrating time to be a supporter at this moment in time.

It has given some players and fans a chance to relax and spend more time than they might normally do in the comfort of their own homes.

Football Manager have recently started a cup competition between players and fans whilst the break from competitive action is upon us.

Nottingham Forest's Joe Lolley is one of the players involved in the competition, and booked his place in the next round with a 5-0 thrashing of Southend United recently.

The Football Manager cup raises money for Mind Charity, with Lolley highlighting the importance of the charity in a post on his Twitter account.

But the Forest winger stated that he will match any donations that were made before 11pm on Monday evening, which is certain to go down well with the City Ground faithful.

Plenty of Nottingham Forest supporters were quick to acknowledge Lolley's heartwarming gesture on Monday evening.
