Leeds United are certainly justifying their pre-season promotion credentials this season and under Marcelo Bielsa, they are the team to beat heading into 2019.

The Whites strengthened their grip on top spot in the Championship after a dramatic 3-2 win over Blackburn Rovers at Elland Road on Boxing Day.

Kemar Roofe was the hero as he netted an injury-time brace to give Leeds an all important three points to extend their lead over Norwich at the top of the table.

They host Hull City this weekend in a game they will be expected to pick up all three points, to help strengthen their grip on an automatic promotion place.

All of the pressure will be on Bielsa's side in the fixture against the Tigers, but they should have enough attacking firepower to break down a defiant Hull defence.

So, how do we expect Leeds to line-up for the game against Hull?

Find out here....

Peacock-Farrell had a poor game against Blackburn Rovers on Boxing Day but he is the only recognised option between the sticks.

On his day, the Northern Irish international can be one of the best young goalkeepers in English football, but he needs to find more consistency.

Ayling returned from injury against Aston Villa before Christmas and is seemingly being eased back into action.

His experience will be a huge bonus to have in a relatively young Leeds side this season that are challenging for promotion.

Phillips has been used as a makeshift centre-back for the majority of the season due to injuries to Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper, and has proved himself to be a good enough addition in the Leeds back line.

With Liam Cooper nearing a return to action, we could see Phillips move back into midfield in the near future, but with the Leeds captain unlikely to be available for this one, Phillips is sure to start at centre-back.

Jansson is showing promising signs since his return from injury.

He is a firm fan favourite at Elland Road and is sure to be one of the first names on Marcelo Bielsa's teamsheet.

His leadership in the Leeds defence could be key in their promotion bid.

Douglas hasn't been as impressive as many Leeds fans would have hoped since he arrived at the club in the summer.

The left-back has made 19 starts for Bielsa's side this season and is a regular, though.

He continues.

Klich may have lost his goalscoring touch recently but he is an excellent option to have in the centre of midfield.

He is yet to miss a league game this season and there is no way that he will be replaced anytime soon.

Forshaw offers the defence more cover in a more defensive midfield role, and has impressed in recent weeks.

He has made ten starts for Bielsa's side and has been hugely impressive on his return to the side.

Alioski hasn't set the world alight this season, but has been consistent in recent weeks.

The Macedonian international has just three goals and three assists this season, and should have done enough in recent weeks to keep the likes of Jack Harrison out of the side.

He is yet to miss a game this season.

Leeds' player of the season so far by some distance.

Hernandez's creativity and goalscoring threat will struggle to be matched by any other player in the Championship.

The Spaniard has seven goals and ten assists already to his name and he will play a starring role if Leeds are to win promotion this season.

Clarke has been unlucky not to start this season and has impressed from the bench on a number of occasions.

He netted his first goal of the season against Aston Villa, and should replace Jack Harrison in the starting XI for this one after the Manchester City loanee struggled to make a huge impact against Blackburn on Boxing Day.

Roofe has shown his quality and clinical eye in front of goal in recent games.

He netted the winner against Aston Villa, before netting an injury-time brace against Blackburn to secure all three points to keep Leeds top of the table.

With Patrick Bamford out injured, there is no chance we will see Roofe dropped anytime soon.
