Leeds United may be going great guns in the Championship, but that doesn't mean that supporters aren't craving more.

Among the heaps of players who have been linked with a move to Elland Road in recent months is one of Europe's hottest prospects, Erling Braut Haaland.

Alf-Inge Haaland, the RB Leipzig starlet's father, revealed in recent weeks that he's a huge fan of Marcelo Bielsa's side after being born in the Yorkshire city during his father's time at Elland Road.

The 19-year-old is surely tipped for a future at one of Europe's elite clubs, but that hasn't stopped supporters from urging the forward to move back to his birthplace.

A Leeds United supporter group on Facebook shared a post from the Match Of The Day page which showed the starlet's impressive goalscoring record of 27 goals in 18 games.

The image appears to have drawn discussion from many supporters of the Yorkshire club, with most reflecting on how signing the youngster is nothing more than a pipe-dream.

Here's what supporters had to say on Facebook.

Nikk Burrow: “The dude is solid but could he handle the Championship?”

Mike Driver: “Absolutely not a prayer, mate.”

Dean Kelly: “City sign him. We loan him while Aguero is still running the show.”

Oliver Weston: “No chance.”

Jonathan Coggan: “He could do with a season at Championship level and then reassess.”

Don Fleming: “Only when we’ve been promoted and taken over.”

Samuel Lawrence Broadhead: “As if we could afford him.”

Sam Norfolk: “If he comes to England it won’t be to us, unfortunately.”
