Birmingham City will look to bounce back from Saturday's defeat to Cardiff City when they welcome Fulham to St. Andrew's this weekend.

However, they may have to do so without the influential Harlee Dean who was sent off late on in the 4-2 loss in the Welsh capital.

Whilst Blues have appealed the decision, Pep Clotet will have to prepare for Saturday's game without the ex-Brentford man and his absence will be felt, with Dean an ever-present so far this season.

His partnership with Marc Roberts has been reasonably strong and the one occasion the 29-year-old missed this season, Jake Clarke-Salter was used alongside Dean.

So, the former Chelsea man will be favourite to come in should the ban be upheld but some fans are calling for youngster Geraldo Bajrami to be given an opportunity.

The Albanian U21 international has been impressive for the development sides and was handed his competitive against Portsmouth earlier this season in the League Cup.
