Leeds United have experienced a stunning first half and are now guaranteed to be inside the top-two on Christmas day. 

A first goal for Patrick Bamford in a 1-0 against Bolton Wanderers last weekend saw them leap above Norwich City and to the top of the Championship table, further endorsing the terrific job Marcelo Bielsa has done.

The Whites have not played in the top-flight for 14 years but it looks like they will have their best chance yet of regaining their spot among the country's elite.

One man who somewhat failed to be as successful in the past was Dave Hockaday.

In the summer of 2014, he was appointed as the club's manager but his reign did not last long at all, famously being sacked after just 70 days in charge.

His stint in charge has become the stuff of ironic legend for the Elland Road faithful, so when it was announced on Tuesday morning that Jose Mourinho had left his post as Manchester United, fans did their best to get him the job.

This was mainly done by inundating Sky Bet's Request a bet section with tweets asking for odds to be given on the 61-year-old.

Unfortunately, their requests were eventually rebuffed, leaving many people disappointed.
