Leeds have struggled massively in recent weeks, losing six of their last seven games in the SkyBet Championship.

Therefore Thomas Christiansen must be considering making wholesale changes when they return to action against Middlesbrough after the international break.

One of the beneficiaries should be Hadi Sacko, who is rated at £1.35m with Transfermarkt.

The French winger hasn't been given a proper chance under the new manager, but surely he has to turn to him now.

Understandably, Christiansen wanted to give his new signings a chance to impress at the start of the season, with Ezgjan Alioski the one mainly operating from the right flank. However, his form has suffered a lot in recent weeks and Sacko would provide a different threat.

In truth, there's only really Samuel Saiz who should certainly warrant a start from the midfield and strikers. The little Spaniard is by far the best player at Elland Road and the team should be built around him.

He would clearly benefit from playing with someone like Sacko too. The winger is direct and hugs the touchline. That would create more space on the inside for Saiz who likes to find little pockets to play in. As well as that, Saiz would be capable of feeding Sacko the ball early, which is vital for the way he plays; running at the defenders.

Alternative options to play alongside Saiz in the attacking midfield role are Alioski, Pablo Hernandez, Stuart Dallas and Kemar Roofe. But, they don't really offer the genuine pace and direct style that Sacko does. The first two in particular prefer to cut inside and that can slow down attacks, making it easy to defend against.

So, Christiansen should change things and give Sacko a proper run. He's been restricted to five substitute appearances so far this season and now needs time to prove himself. With the way Leeds have been playing, it shouldn't be too difficult a decision for the boss.
