Leeds United this week appointed Gary Monk's successor, as they named Thomas Christiansen as their new manager.

Christiansen, who lead to APOEL to the league title this season and the knockout stages of the Europa League, wasn't kept on by the Cypriot club, and following talks with new Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani he was chosen as the new man to take Leeds forward next season.

After a seventh-placed finish last season, which most saw as a successful campaign for the Yorkshire outfit, many thought that Gary Monk would still be at the helm next season and given a chance to take Leeds one step further to the play-offs or automatic promotion.

But just two days after the takeover by Andrea Radrizzani, Monk resigned from his post just hours before the club could trigger a clause in his contract to extend his stay at Elland Road until the end of next season.

This season, striker Chris Wood was the man who scored the majority of their goals, as he found the back of the net on 27 occasions and provided 4 assists for his team.

Still, going forward surly new manager Christiansen is going to want to bring in his own players and will look to get some goal scoring support up top with Wood.

With this in mind, Leeds should turn their attentions to AFC Bournemouth striker, Lewis Grabban.

In his second spell with the south coast outfit, he struggled for regular game time this season and spent the second half of the season out on loan at Reading.

With the expected arrival of Jermain Defoe looming, it remains to be seen how much game time Grabban (rated at £2.55m on Transfermarkt) will get next season.

He's scored goals at Championship level in the past as he has played for, Bournemouth and Norwich and would definitely provide support for Chris Wood if he was to be signed for Leeds this summer.

Leeds fans… Would Grabban be a good signing? Could he make the difference next season? Let us know your thoughts!
