Leeds United will be without three key players for tomorrow’s clash with Queens Park Rangers in the Sky Bet Championship, with Pablo Hernandez, Pierre-Michel Lasogga and Stuart Dallas all set to miss the visit to Loftus Road.

BBC Radio Leeds’ Adam Pope has been speaking to Thomas Christiansen ahead of Leeds’ trip to London, with the Elland Road boss confirming that he will be without the trio, as his side look for a victory to put more pressure on the Championship’s top-six.

Christiansen has confirmed that Hernandez was close to making Leeds’ trip to London, but insisted that the 32-year-old, who was forced off last week against Aston Villa, would not be risked.

Lasogga and Dallas, who have both struggled with injury over the last month, are set to be out for a further 7-10 days, according to Christiansen.

Whilst Christiansen was only able to deliver a negative update on Hernandez, Lasogga and Dallas, he did confirm that Eunan O’Kane was back and available for the trip to Loftus Road, having missed Leeds’ clash with Aston Villa last Friday due to a hip problem.

O’Kane was forced from the field during Leeds’ 2-0 victory at Barnsley.

The Verdict

This is a blow for Leeds and Christiansen, particularly the absence of Hernandez, who would have undoubtedly been in the starting XI.

Of course, Lasogga and Dallas would have featured in the matchday squad, which significantly weakens Christiansen’s hand, however, he will confident his squad still has enough ability to pick up three points.
