The Championship is back this weekend and there's going to be a fair few fans excited about seeing their sides back in action.

Indeed, the international break is over and the focus is firmly back on the club game with Leeds fans hoping for a return to winning ways.

The Whites have had a tough time of things in recent weeks, of course, with them losing last time out against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

They'll be hoping for a return to form against Reading this weekend, then, and Thomas Christiansen has provided a very welcome update on Eunan O'Kane's fitness ahead of the clash.

Indeed, as quoted by Adam Pope, Christiansen said:

There had been doubts, of course, over whether O'Kane was going to be fit for this one against the Royals this weekend with him apparently having a rib injury.

He is fit for the match, though, and it is more than likely that'll he start because of that with him being a mainstay under Thomas Christiansen so far this season.

Indeed, he's kept the likes of Ronaldo Vieira out of the side and will probably do so again on Saturday.

The Verdict

This should have come as a real relief to Leeds fans with O'Kane proving to be one of the better players for the club so far this year.

He's really proven to be a Christiansen player, too, and so the manager will be happy to be able to call upon his services against Reading.
