Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen has been voicing his dismay at the January transfer window, and admitted the winter slot to bring in new players can be 'difficult'.

In an interview with the Daily Star, the Leeds manager bemoaned the January period, despite having brought in three new players already to bolster his playoff chasing side ahead of the second half of the Championship season.

One position Christiansen admitted he may like to add to during the window is up front, where he has seen summer recuits Lassoga and Grot both struggle to make inroads in front of goal and Leeds fans have made their views known on the pair at times this campaign.

Leeds are chasing a top six spot in the second tier this time around but saw their chances slip this afternoon when they fell to a 1-0 defeat to struggling Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

Christiansen will be hoping he can continue to get the backing of his board in January and will be hoping to add at least one or two more additons before the end of the transfer window as he seeks to guide the Elland Road club back to the Premier League.

Leeds fans, what do you think? Do you need new signings? Let us know!
