Chris Wilder has issued praise for Millwall and their recruitment after the two sides played out a hard-fought draw over the weekend.

The two sides came up from League One for this season and have both immediately adapted with the Blades setting an early quick pace and the Lions going great guns in 2018.

Both have a chance of getting promoted via the play-offs, then, and it's the Lions who are in the slightly stronger position after the draw on Saturday.

And, for Chris Wilder, that's partly thanks to their recruitment in recent times and the work that Neil Harris has done as part of that.

As quoted by the News Shopper, Wilder said:

“They've recruited well and they're playing with a freedom and a confidence, so we always knew it was going to be a real difficult game.”

Certainly, this will please Millwall fans as the praise continues to roll in for the men from South East London and their manager.

The Verdict

Millwall continue to win plaudits and they deserve every single one.

Another tough game has gone past without a loss and if the Lions remain unbeaten for the rest of the campaign they'll be looking good for a play-off place.

Let's see if they can pull it off.
