Sheffield United remain in the hunt for signings this summer as the loan window remains open until the end of this month.

The Blades have had a pretty slow start to the season so far with two losses coming before their first win last time out in the league against QPR.

Even so, they'll be looking to kick on from there and it seems clear that Chris Wilder wants to add further to his squad in the loan market.

Indeed, as reported by Andy Giddings on Twitter, it looks as though players are being eyed imminently but the club is going to have to remain patient:

How many actually come in before the weekend remains to be seen but with not long until that point it seems safe to assume that some busy days are ahead in South Yorkshire.

The Verdict

It looks as though the Blades are having to play a bit of a waiting game but once the selling club finds a replacement for the Bramall Lane bound player, surely things will spark into life.

They have a couple of weeks left in the loan window and so nothing is urgent, though Wilder will want things done sooner rather than later.
