Chris Coleman's tenure at Sunderland has gotten off to a fairly promising start so far with a win under their belts already.

Of course, the loss to Aston Villa could have been better but the squad is looking a bit more together and the win over Burton suggested there is enough for them to pull away from the bottom three.

Certainly, having Lewis Grabban up top has helped with him scoring the amount of goals you'd expect from someone at the top end of the table.

Sunderland will want to keep him past this loan deal, then, but it looks as though they could be in trouble with it thought that he might be off in January.

Indeed, as per TeamTalk, Bournemouth - Grabban's parent club - might want to call him back from the loan deal he is on and then look to sell him in January - with Sunderland unlikely to have the money available at that time.

Certainly, this would prove a big blow to the Black Cats and Coleman with Grabban scoring most of their goals and it would be interesting to see who the Welshman looks to bring in if Grabban is recalled by the Cherries.

The Verdict

This would be a real blow for Sunderland and they'll be hoping that nothing comes of this story.

Grabban has caught the eye this season despite the Black Cats' struggles and so the Cherries might want to cash in, leaving Sunderland potentially high and dry.
