Plenty of Ipswich Town fans have reacted to Armando Dobra's message on Twitter following the club's 2-0 defeat to Accrington Stanley.

Despite heading into the clash as overwhelming favourites to secure all three points, the Tractor Boys produced a lacklustre display at the Crown Ground.

After Colby Bishop headed Accrington ahead in the 17th minute, Ipswich defender Toto Nsiala brought down the forward in the penalty area.

Bishop duly converted the spot-kick to double Stanley' advantage.

Following the break, Ipswich manager Paul Lambert opted to replace Andre Dozzell with Dobra who initially made a positive impact for his side as he looked to alter the pattern of the game.

However, with just over 10 minutes left to play, the 19-year-old was sent off following an off-the-ball confrontation with Ross Sykes who was also given his marching orders by referee Seb Stockbridge.

Unable to break Accrington down in the closing stages of the clash, Ipswich slumped to their first league defeat of the season.

After Sunday's clash, Dobra tweeted: "Disappointing result today, I'd like to apologise for the red card.

"We go again."
