Ben Gibson is a man in demand this summer as six Premier League clubs are keen on signing him, according to an exclusive report by TEAMTalk.

Middlesbrough want to keep their star defender at the club this summer and they have slapped a £25m price tag on him.

A host of Premier League clubs are still likely to make a move for Ben Gibson, who was the standout performer for Middlesbrough last season as they were relegated to the Championship after finishing 19th in their first season back in the top flight.

The left-sided centre half also earned a call-up to the senior England squad as a result of his good performances but did not manage to make his debut in the recent double header against Scotland and France.

Middlesbrough manager Garry Monk is a big fan of the former England under-21 international and is desperate to keep him at the Riverside Stadium for his Championship campaign.

Monk will be hoping that Gibson's ties to his boyhood club will mean he stays.

However, Gibson might prefer a move to the Premier League if staying at Middlesbrough would hamper his hopes of playing international football.

The 24-year-old is wanted by Premier League champions Chelsea and Tottenham, who finished runners-up.

Stoke City, Leicester City, Southampton and Everton are also interested in signing Ben Gibson to bolster their defence this summer.
