Chelsea are lining up a raid on local rivals Fulham for Marcus Bettinelli, according to The Daily Mail.
Chelsea are looking for a new goalkeeper this summer and have identified Marcus Bettinelli as an option.
After selling back-up goalkeeper Asmir Begovic to Bournemouth, the Premier League champions are searching for a deputy for Thibault Courtois.
Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli has emerged as a surprising target.
The 25-year-old replaced David Button between the sticks for the Cottagers towards the end of the season but failed to keep a clean sheet this season.
The former England under-21 international is also a target for Bristol City and will consider moving on if he isn’t given first team assurances by Fulham.
However, his playing opportunities would be even more diminished at Stamford Bridge and he previously turned down an opportunity to move there due to the same reasons.
Chelsea have made initial enquiries for Bettinelli.
