West Bromwich Albion lost 1-0 to Stoke City yesterday to keep the gap at the top of the Championship at one point, which has drawn an interesting reaction from Leeds United fans.

After Leeds' 1-0 defeat at the hands of QPR on Saturday, the Baggies had a chance to move four points clear at the top of the table.

However, Tyrese Campbell's 9th-minute goal proved decisive on a frustrating evening at the Hawthorns, despite the hosts finishing with 69% possession and having four times as many shots.

Prior to the festive period, Leeds and West Brom had opened up a significant gap on the rest of the division but the pair have just one league win between them since the 14th of December, which has seen them slide back much closer to the chasing pack.

West Brom lead the Whites by one point, with third place Fulham four points back from Marcelo Bielsa's side.

Despite their own poor form, the Yorkshire club remain within touching distance of the top of the table after last night's game.
