As Birmingham City's season begins to fizzle out in unfortunate circumstances, the club face a massive fight to keep hold of star-man Che Adams beyond this season.

It has been a turbulent season at St. Andrew's to say the least, with their West Midlands club's season being throw into limbo after being hit with a nine-point deduction.

This meant that Garry Monk's men, who had worked desperately hard all season to fight for a place in the play-off positions, were turned into relegation candidates just like that, with their season coming to a premature end.

Adams' goals have been central to Blues' success this season - the powerful forward was on the shortlist for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Year award, having scored 22 goals in all competitions this term.

It seems almost inevitable that Adams will depart St. Andrew's at the end of the season, with plenty of high-profile, top-flight sides beginning to circle around the prolific front-man.

Of course, Adams shouldn't move from Birmingham just for the sake of it - his next move will arguably make or break his career at the tender age of 22, so it may be best for him to turn down reported interest from the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal.

The striker needs regular game-time and a chance to shine in the top-flight, therefore if reports are to be believed, then a switch to Everton would be a fantastic move for Adams.

It is claimed that the Toffees are lining up a £15million bid to sign the forward, and he should have no doubts about this. Everton aren't challenging for the top four, nor are they fighting off relegation, and would be the perfect club to nurture Adams.

He is likely to be a regular starter under Marco Silva, as his side are craving a player like Adams who can lead the line up top on his own, and find the net with ease.

If the opportunity arises, Adams needs to grasp it with both hands.
