Charlton Athletic have had a turbulent season on their return to the Championship, with poor form and off-field distractions both playing their part.
Prior to the league being suspended the Addicks were sitting 22nd in the Championship table, two points adrift of safety.
Lee Bowyer’s side started the year well but a run of one league win between the end of October and and early February saw them plummet down the table.

This summer the club mainly targeted players from the lower leagues and free agents, while none of their highest-paid players feature in the top 100 earners in the league.
The club have also been heavily reliant on the form of loan players this season, with four loanees arriving in January alone.
