Charlton Athletic host Fleetwood Town this evening in Sky Bet League One at The Valley, looking to make it a super six wins on the spin in the third tier.

The Addicks have certainly found the throttle pedal in recent weeks with them motoring on since the transfer window came to a close back in October.

The goals are going in and, crucially, at the other end the exact opposite is happening – it’s been over nine hours since Ben Amos last had to pick the ball up out of his net.

What’s been more impressive is that they’ve managed to maintain such form despite having to rotate their side either through choice or force and tonight, against Fleetwood, we’ll see that in action again from Lee Bowyer – as he potentially welcomes some faces back.

Indeed, both Ryan Inniss and Ben Watson were suspended for the win at Portsmouth but are available once more, with both featuring in last Tuesday night’s win over Oxford United.

Inniss’ defensive partner, Akin Famewo, meanwhile, faces a late call on his fitness after needing a scan on his hamstring after coming off against Portsmouth. Even if he misses tonight’s match, though, there is hope he won’t be out for long and, conveniently, Jason Pearce is on the brink of a return – potentially in time for the FA Cup at the weekend.

Marcus Maddison missed the Portsmouth clash altogether at the weekend with a recurrence of his ankle injury but could be fit enough to make the bench, whilst we will likely see the regular rotation of the likes of Jonny Williams and Jake Forster-Caskey in midfield, as Bowyer manages his squad.

Kick-off is at 7pm.
