The Romanian striker has agreed a three-year contract at the Valley. Tucudean bolsters the Addicks’ strike options alongside fellow summer signings Igor Vetokele and Johann Berg Guthmundsson.

The Romania under-21 international signed for Charlton’s sister club Standard Liege in January 2013 from Romanian side Dinamo Bucharest. The 23 year-old failed to score in 11 appearances in Belgium before being loaned back to Dinamo Bucharest for the entirety of last season.

Tucudean had a better time of it last season, scoring seven times in 22 league appearances as the Romanian giants finished fourth in Liga 1.

New Charlton boss Bob Peeters has re-jigged his squad this summer, adding seven players in the transfer market whilst 15 players have departed the South London club.
